工資上漲和出口需求縮減迫使制造業(yè)廠商遷移到鄰近的東南亞國家,那些尚未遷移的也在認(rèn)真考慮這個問題。這一遷移行為被稱為“工業(yè)大遷移”。
Great industry transfer就是所謂的“工業(yè)大遷移”,指在成本日漸上升、出口需求下降的情況下,國內(nèi)不少traditional labor-intensive manufacturers(傳統(tǒng)的勞動密集型制造產(chǎn)業(yè))開始遷移到人力成本更低的東南亞國家。Transfer和relocate在這里都是“轉(zhuǎn)移、遷移”的意思,用法也相似,均為transfer/relocate somebody/something to…的搭配。不同的是transfer還可以做名詞,指銀行“轉(zhuǎn)賬”或者職位“調(diào)任”,如:The bank reserves the right to reverse any transfers or payments. (銀行保留撤銷任何轉(zhuǎn)賬或支付操作的權(quán)利。)
業(yè)內(nèi)人士表示,此類遷移總體上與國家upgrade China's industrial power(升級中國產(chǎn)業(yè)力量)和change its model of economic growth(轉(zhuǎn)變經(jīng)濟(jì)增長模式)的方針一致。“十二五”規(guī)劃也要求出口廠商多生產(chǎn)high-end goods(高端產(chǎn)品)。
