The five-day 2010 China (Tieling) International Commodity Business Expo opened Oct 11 at the Tieling International Trade Center, attracting more than 800 enterprises from home and abroad.
“The expo provides a platform for all enterprise and businessmen from home and abroad, who should take the precious chance to communicate, cooperate and concludes deals,” said Li Wenke, secretary of Tieling.
The expo covers 70,000 square meters and is one of the biggest of its kind. Products displayed at the expo include autos, clothing, construction materials, agricultural products, small commodities, mechanized equipment and hardware.
The expo is jointly hosted by China Logistics & Purchase Association and the Tieling people’s government and has as its theme “Mixing opportunities, Achieving win-win situation”.
Tieling, a prefecture-level city in Liaoning province of China, is a city where coal mining is an important industry. In recent years, it’s working to become a logistics center of Northeast China.
