China, Russia to hold first computer-assisted anti-missile drill
By ZHANG YUNBI ( chinadaily.com.cn ) Updated: 2016-05-04 11:05:19China and Russia will hold their first joint computer-assisted anti-missile drill, the Ministry of National Defense announced on Tuesday.
According to a release by the ministry website, the drill will be held later this month at an air-space defense force science research center of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The goal of the drill is to "address urgent and provocative strikes by ballistic and cruise missiles against the territory of the two countries", the Chinese ministry said.
The drill "does not target any third party", it added.
