As the premier grassroots tennis promotional platform in China, the WTA Tennis Festival has had a very successful two years, highlighting the thrill of tennis through engaging tennis games, interactive entertainment and appearances from star WTA athletes.

This year, the WTA ramps up the fun quotient by taking the festivities to more cities, introducing cooler games and bringing in brighter star power.

The festive tour opened in Shanghai and Chengdu earlier this summer, followed by an early fall swing through Guangzhou last weekend, before closing out in style on the eve of the biggest women's tennis event in the country.

The festivities also include lively interactive entertainment programs such as cheerleader performances, engaging virtual tennis games and other activities.

"Through our hard work the past two years, the WTA Tennis Festival has done an extraordinary job in pushing the sport of tennis and the identity of the WTA brand to Chinese fans in many communities," said Fabrice Chouquet, Managing Director of WTA Asia Pacific. "With more interactive tennis fun for the entire family, this year's Tennis Festival is the biggest ever. I am certain of it."
