Editor's Note: It is reported that South Korean authorities are considering levying single tax on the unmarried to fight against its birthrate crisis. Do you think it is reasonable? Our forum reader share their opinions on this issue and you are also welcome to add yours.

The birth rate of South Korea fell to 8.6. It is the lowest level since records began in 1970, and also among the world's lowest indicators. Some researchers said that South Korea's population will become completely extinct by 2750 if the country's birth rate of 1.19 children per woman continues. I don't know whether the new policy will be effective but it is definitely justified.
