President Xi Jinping Thursday told visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel that China will work with Germany to push bilateral ties to a higher level.

國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平對(duì)來訪的德國(guó)總理默克爾表示，中方愿同德方共同努力，推動(dòng)雙邊關(guān)系不斷邁上新高度。

He said China and Germany must set an example of win-win cooperation, take the lead in promoting China-Europe ties, advocate the new type of international relations and override the ideological differences for cooperation. "This should be the direction that bilateral ties will move to in the next stage," said Xi.

習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，中德兩國(guó)要做合作共贏的示范者、中歐關(guān)系的引領(lǐng)者、新型國(guó)際關(guān)系的推動(dòng)者、超越意識(shí)形態(tài)差異的合作者。這應(yīng)當(dāng)是雙方下階段推進(jìn)兩國(guó)關(guān)系共同努力的方向。

雙方要保持高層密切交往（maintain high-level exchange），加強(qiáng)對(duì)雙邊關(guān)系的頂層設(shè)計(jì)（enhance top-down planning on bilateral ties），鼓勵(lì)兩國(guó)各領(lǐng)域交流合作，用好機(jī)制性對(duì)話（give full play to dialogue mechanisms），我們歡迎德國(guó)抓住中國(guó)新一輪開放機(jī)遇；

要以科技創(chuàng)新為引領(lǐng)，共同做大蛋糕、做大產(chǎn)業(yè)、做大市場(chǎng)，雙方可以在未來產(chǎn)業(yè)領(lǐng)域開展更多合作（expand industrial and market cooperation），共同開拓第三方市場(chǎng)（jointly explore the third-party markets）；

要以人文合作為抓手，夯實(shí)兩國(guó)友好的民意基礎(chǔ)（enhance cultural and people-to-people exchanges to consolidate the basis of friendship）；

要展現(xiàn)中德兩國(guó)的責(zé)任和擔(dān)當(dāng)，共同應(yīng)對(duì)各種全球性挑戰(zhàn)，我們?cè)咐^續(xù)同德方在多邊框架內(nèi)一道推進(jìn)全球治理和多邊主義（promote global governance and multilateralism together with Germany within the multilateral frameworks），在推動(dòng)解決熱點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)問題方面加強(qiáng)溝通合作。
