The Art Market Magazine Co Ltd recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary in Beijing.
Since last October, the magazine has expanded from a monthly to a biweekly to better reflect China's art market trends and closely monitor cultural phenomena, deputy manager Zhu Xiaojun says.
Vice-Minister of Culture Yang Zhijin said at the anniversary ceremony that the magazine, a subsidiary of the China Culture Media Group, will now have to compete in the open for its survival, instead of depending on government subsidies.
