BEIJING - The Fifth Session of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee is to open on March 3, 2012 in Beijing, according to a draft decision passed on Friday.

The draft decision was passed by the presidium of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, the country's top political advisory body.

The draft decision will be submitted for examination and approval to the 16th session of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, which will be held from Feb 26 to 28, 2012.
