HARBIN- Over 4,700 people are trying to tame a forest fire in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, local authorities said Sunday.
The fire in the Great Khingan Prefecture was triggered Friday as workers made fire control lines for later use in its neighboring Neijiang County in the city of Heihe, the prefecture government said in a statement.
