China hopes to upgrade the country's manufacturing power through the " China Manufacturing 2025" strategy unveiled at an executive meeting on Wednesday.

The initiative to upgrade the nation from a big manufacturer to a manufacturing industry superpower is the key to helping China maintain economic growth at a medium-to-high level and to move up the global value chain.

The plan was first mentioned by China's Premier Li Keqiang in the Government Work Report at the annual session of the National People's Congress this month.

Li said at the session that the country will redouble its efforts to upgrade China from a manufacturer of quantity to one of quality.

Now let's take a look at the 10 sectors that China will focus on in the next ten years.
