8.0-magnitude quake hits Santa Cruz Islands
HONG KONG - An earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale jolted Santa Cruz Islands at 01:12:27 GMT on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.00 km, was initially determined to be at 10.9230 degrees south latitude and 165.0850 degrees east longitude.
