WASHINGTON - A school mini bus and a charter bus clashed early Thursday morning in the US state of New Jersey, with as many as 16 people injured, local media reported.
The clash occurred on Route 9 in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The charter bus veered off the roadway and smashed into a tree, My FoxNY.com reported. The school bus wound up on its side.
As many as 16 people aboard the charter bus may be injured, ABC News reported.
Local officials don't believe there were any children in the bus when the serious accident took place.
Police cars and emergency personnel are on the scene.
