DPJ, LDP to pass bills related to Kan's quit

TOKYO - The ruling Democratic Party of Japan on Wednesday agreed with the main opposition Liberal Democratic Party to seek for parliament passage of two key bills related to Prime Minister Naoto Kan's resignation by August 26, according to lawmakers.
