Updated: 2009-09-09 13:15 PYONGYANG: The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a national meeting Tuesday to mark the 61th anniversary of the founding of the country.
It was the victory of the Songun (military-first) policy of the DPRK to successfully test-fire a satellite and another nuclear bomb this year, he added. He called for implementation of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration (2000) and the October 4 declaration (2007), and reenergizing the movement for national reunification. "The DPRK government will boost the solidarity with the peoples of all the countries in the world ... and wage a dynamic struggle for building an independent and peaceful new world against aggression and war," he said. |
