THE WEEK Nov 2: The odd of the storm

        Billionaire's announcement bust

Thankfully American billionaire Donald Trump gave up his idea to run for president this year, but that doesn't mean he's staying out of it. Trump has been one of the most prominent birthers, a group of people who refuse to believe, despite evidence, that Barack Obama is American. Weeks ago, Trump announced via social media that he would make a huge announcement regarding the US president. It was a waste of time.

Disney to release new Star Wars

Disney recently bought Lucasfilm, the company responsible for the Star Wars series. The company announced it will release a new movie, Star Wars: Episode 7, in the near future. George Lucas has not been named the director of the film, which is a little bit worrisome. But I am excited about the possibility of Michael Cera being cast as Luke Skywalker. I mean, the kid proved his skills in Arrested Development.

Tragic storm = Great local TV

The story dominating the news this week has been the super storm, Hurricane Sandy, that is pummeling the east coast of the United States. It's been a devastating storm - destroying property, causing power outrages and flooding cities. It's such a tragedy. All of the media attention leading up to the storm gave some people the chance to grab their few seconds of fame on the local TV news stations.

        This wacky world!

A woman in the US broke the world record for donations of breast milk. She donated a total of 11,115 ounces (87 gallons)! Got milk? Yes, yes she does.

As a way to memorialize his deceased wife, a man in Serbia engraved a mold of his wife's genitals into her grave stone.

Last week, it was cat poop. This week, it's elephant poop. Upscale hotels in Thailand are feeding elephants coffee beans, recollecting the beans from the elephant's droppings and then brewing cups of coffee for around $30 per cup.

A police officer from New York was arrested for allegedly making plans to kill and eat a human being. Glad he’s keeping the city safe.

This week's best viral video clearly explains what the entire US nation is feeling about this year's presidential election.
