        Shenyang eager to boost tourism

        By Yang Feiyue | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2017-06-30 10:41

Shenyang rolled out tourism projects worth more than 60.8 billion yuan ($8.9 billion) at a business meeting in Beijing on June 28.

The projects cover hunting, field, leisure, sport, medical, wedding, folk culture and eco-tourism facilities.

All those projects were in the Shenyang economic zone, which covers Shenyang and its seven neighboring cities, including Anshan, Fushun, Liaoyang and Tieling.

The economic zone's Beijing headquarters for tourism investment attraction was launched at the meeting.

Officials from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development were present. More than 30 major businesses from Beijing attended the meeting, including Beijing Tourism Group, Shougang Group and China Resources Group.
