Beijing's Stephon Marbury has received a one game suspension following some controversial comments the star gave about refereeing in their league match against rivals Guangdong on Monday.
The star reportedly "behaved in an inappropriate way" after a referee called a technical foul against him.
Following the call, Marbury used Weibo, a twitter like social media, to question the referees call.
He also posted some comments from other netizens concerning the incident.
Because of this the Beijing Duck star will miss his teams game against Qingdao on Wednesday.
The team has also been fined $3,000 for the incident.
Marbury has later deleted the post and apologized for his behavior on Weibo.
He has been a major force for Beijing by guiding the team to three titles in the past four years.
Currently Beijing is placed at 7th in the CBA rankings.
