Some of them secured the victories after long-lasted matches against the opponents. BWF No. 6 WS player Wang Yihan had to take her utmost to win the match against her Vietnamese contender Vu Thi Trang in almost one hour.

She lost the second game to Vu Thi Trang and eventually managed to foil her opponent in the third game with scours of 21-18, 17-21 and 21-12.

Wang Yihan was scheduled to meet South Korean WS player Bae Yeon Ju seeded No. 10 in the next qualifying match scheduled on Thursday.

Meanwhile, China's WD players Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei, seeded No. 5, easily entered the following qualification match after they trashed their Thailand contenders Jonkonpran Kittiharakul/Rawinda Prajongjai in 34 minutes ended with scores of 21-12, 21-7.

Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei are to take on Dutch WD players Eefje Muskens/Selena Piek seeded No. 9 in the qualifying match on Thursday.

Another China's WD players Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting stopped Indonesian pairing to advance in further round after the Chinese seeded players trashed the Indonesian contenders in a brief 30- minute match ended 21-11, 21-8.

Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting will vie South Korean non-seeded players Go Ah Ra/Yoo Hae Won in the qualification round on Thursday.

Meanwhile, No. 9 MD players from China Liu Xiaolong/Qiu Zihan were successful in their match against Belgium players Matijs Derickx/Freek Galinski that made the Chinese players go further to Thursday's qualifying match.

They will vie against the winners of a match contending Malaysian and South Korean players to be held later on Wednesday.

More Chinese seeded and non-seeded players of four groups were scheduled to play in the evening.

The 22nd BWF World Badminton Championship held here was scheduled to hold the quarter finals on Friday, semifinals on Saturday and finals on Sunday.
