The 11th Hebei Provincial People’s Congress closed its fourth session on Sunday in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of North China’s Hebei Province.
Chen said key targets for 2011 include steady growth, industry restructuring, commodity price control and improving people’s livelihoods.
Hebei province will spend 120 million yuan on tourism promotion campaigns on CCTV this year, said Wang Xinyong, head of the province’s tourist bureau and a member of the CPPCC Hebei provincial committee.
Hebei governor Chen Quanguo met and had a talk with Hong Kong and Macao members of the Hebei Provincial Committee on Tuesday afternoon.
The fourth session of the tenth Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on Jan 11th, 2010 at Hebei Conference Hall in Shijiazhuang, the capital of North China’s Hebei province.
Regarded as the economic major league of Chinese big and medium cities, the 400 billion yuan club currently includes Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, etc.
