Dell Computer presented a series of brand-new enterprise solutions around the globe on Mar 1, relating to their widely watched 12th generation servers.
"I participated in Dell's discussion of investment projects with Chengdu. I am very well aware of the growing demands of the west China technology market," said Stephen J. Felice, the newly appointed president and Chief Commercial Officer of Dell. He said that the west China market is crucial for Dell's strategic priorities in China.
"We are running smoothly with our plant in Chengdu," said Yang Chao, Dell global vice-president and president of Greater China.
Yang said that Dell has put its call center in Chengdu into operation. The company is busy launching training programs for hundreds of technicians for the backstage operation of the Chengdu project. It expects to put the Chengdu production base into large-scale operation this year.
