I didn't remember the exact date when I first met my father, just know I was approximately 4 years old when I first met him. I spent my first four years in my grandparents' residence which located in a remote village. My parents were struggling for money in another province and at that time I knew nothing about parents and even didn't know what the parents meant to me.
I didn't know I had parents until one afternoon my grandfather suddenly told me that my parents came back home! I jumped out the door with curiosity and saw my parents coming to me with smiling face and held me tightly with his strong arms. A tall man in white shirt stood in front of me, he was thin and good stature, the twilight shone on his charming face. I swore to God that he was the most handsome guy that I ever met in my first four years. That splendid smiling expression still dwells in my mind. That was the day, the day which I had seen him, a man, my father, it was a memorable moment for me. So many years went by, the unforgettable moment still remains in my memory, because I knew there was man, which called father, was the one who gave me beautiful feeling of knowing that my loving heart was safe with him today, tomorrow and for the rest of my life.
My father is a construction worker, he spent all the years in the construction site no matter sunny or thunderstorm . I always described his job as hard labor. But this hard labor has given me too much insurmountable power to face all the troubles that life brings to me. Every single day that I spent with him was filled of laughter and happiness. I won't say my father is a hero, as for me he is just my friend that very close to my heart and love me most. Now I work in another city but I will always care for him, even if we are not together and even if we are far away from each other.

I’ve lived in China for quite a considerable time including my graduate school years, travelled and worked in a few cities and still choose my destination taking into consideration the density of smog or PM2.5 particulate matter in the region.
