The increased building in preparation for the Shanghai World Expo and the Beijing Olympics has attracted many international designers.
The skyline is changing almost everyday, with dramatic building exteriors complementing peoples' desires for taller and fancier buildings.
This dramatic architectural opportunity has expanded beyond large cities, like Beijing and Shanghai, and reached second-tier cities. It's no wonder overseas firms have sought ways to participate in this exciting market.
To better facilitate their business development in China, some international big names have already set up joint ventures in collaboration with local firms. While others have taken it a step further and established wholly foreign owned enterprises.
