Xinjiang shows itself at ICIF in Shenzhen

The Urumqi delegation from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region achieved a turnover of as much as 10 million yuan ($1.61 million) at the 10th China International Culture Industries Fair in Shenzhen (ICIF) from May 14 to 18.
It was the sixth time for the city to attend the ICIF. The delegation was made up of 34 enterprises that brought over 210 types of products and projects to the fair.
Nearly 50 activities were arranged at the Xinjiang pavilion at the fair, helping to attract around 60,000 people to sample a taste of Xinjiang culture. ICIF is the only national, internationalized and integrated cultural industries fair in China. ICIF focuses on exhibition and exchanges and is committed to building a trade platform for China’s cultural industry products and projects, driving the development of China’s cultural industries and actively advancing the globalization of Chinese cultural products.
Nearly 2,300 exhibitors attended this year’s ICIF, marking a record high in the number of participants. The participants varied from enterprises to governmental organizations and institutions.
