It was announced at the 2013 commendation conference for advanced groups and outstanding science dissemination workers, on March 19, that Chenshan Botanical Garden was named as the 2013 advanced group and Zhang Zhe was honored as the 2013 outstanding dissemination worker. The garden also received the honor of being nominated as an excellent venue for guide training.

As a national base for science dissemination and a special science venue, Chenshan Botanical Garden has always targeted itself at building up a first-class experimental and interactional science dissemination system. It has been organizing activities such as classroom teachings, summer camps, scientific forums and International Plant Day activities. It has also been given dedications in training guides for science exhibitions.

With all these great honors, the garden will continue its endeavors to make greater contributions for science dissemination with new strategies and methods.
