Shanghai's Jiading district held a "Jiading talent port" investment promotion event on Aug 30.
The event introduced Jiading district's industrial structure and investment environment, and promoted the "Jiading talent port", a strategic talent cooperation program launched on July 8.
The event also introduced a pilot measure to support the human resources sector, which includes various subsidies that are available to eligible institutions.
For example, human resources service institutions will be given up to 5 million yuan ($728,587.2) in settlement incentives, and 30 percent of the annual rent subsidies for the first three years after settlement are covered. Institutions will also be given up to a 500,000 yuan subsidy for each talent they introduce.
At the event, a service project was also unveiled. In order to improve the district's talent services, the project is expected to develop a new model of resource-integrated talent services that will release talent service programs on a monthly basis.
Jiading district has been stepping up its efforts to implement talent strategy in order to recruit more high-level talents to the district because talent is the first accelerator to promote reform and innovation.
