The F1 Chinese Grand Prix was held at the Shanghai International Circuit on April 20. After two hours of fierce competition, Mercedes Benz team’s Lewis Hamilton took the lead in the race and won the championship – his third championship in China. Nico Rosberg from the same team won second place, and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso took third place.
The event turned into a carnival for motor car race fans, thanks to the participation of five former world champions: Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. Covered in team flags and logos on their faces, hardcore fans were in evidence.
The fans were still concerned about Michael Schumacher, who has been in a coma following a skiing accident. At the water square, the racing car driven by him in the Ferrari F2004 was on display. The car earned him his seventh world championship, the last one in his career.
