The Jimo County, on the outskirts of Qingdao, Shandong province held a symposium in Changchun city, Jilin province, Jan 7-10, in a bid to promote its auto industry and get investment, which attracted more than 60 local enterprises, expressing their desire to invest in Qingdao.

Sun Mingming, deputy mayor of the county, made a speech at the symposium, outlining the development of the county's auto parts industry, as well as some key projects, such as automobile industry park, Blue Silicon Valley and its international commercial and logistics zone.

The Jimo delegation also had an investigation tour in Changchun FAWSN Group, Fawer Automotive Parts Co and Changchun Faway-Johnson Controls Automotive Systems Co.
