The eighth Pyongyang International Commodity Fair was held from Sept 24 to 28. More than 28 foreign trade enterprises in Dandong participated in activities including commodity exhibition, foreign trade negotiation and project surveys during the fair, Dandong Daily reported. The event yielded business deals amounting to $12 million and intended contracts of $150 million.
The fair attracted many of Dandong's influential enterprises to promote cooperation in foreign trade, export and investment.
