Xu Zhigang, a bricklayer in Dandong and 19 other migrant works were awarded "Excellent Migrant Worker in Liaoning Province" at the 2011 provincial migrant worker's commendation conference in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning province.
"I was afraid of heights when I started this job," said Xu in an interview. In virtue of learning by himself, he gradually turned into a skillful bricklayer considering the building walls as artistic creations.
