The edible fungi industry is one of the key economic growth points for Dandong city's Kuandian Manchu autonomous county located in Liaoning province. 22 towns and villages in the autonomous county are involved in the industry with 16 fungi village production bases, involving more than 90,000 villagers.
The well-established development pattern of the seed collecting, planting, processing and marketing has improved the county's fungi industry's development in a large-scale, commercial matter.
