In recent years, the Liaoning province city of Dandong has increasingly invested in the city's work of landscaping. A number of city parks have been constructed and renovated, including Yuanbao Hill Park, Youth Lake Park, Helmet Hill Park and Jinjiang Hill Park.
The city now enjoys a greenbelt area of 2,002.6 hectares with a greenbelt rate of 37.5 percent and a per capita public greenbelt area of 10.6 square meters.
Dandong is developing into a garden city and laying a solid foundation for the city's sustainable ecological development.
