Mount Sanqing enters World Geopark list

UNESCO passed a proposal that Mount Sanqing should be listed as World Geopark in the 11th European Geopark Conference in Portugal, Shangrao News reported on Sep 21.
It has been seven years since Mount Sanqing applied to become a world geopark. Its success would raise Shangrao’s tourism industry. Mount Sanqing is also a certified national heritage and national 5A scenic area.
