Direct flights boost Thailand tourism
( chinadaily.com.cn )
Updated: 2012-09-20
Direct flights from Nanchang, capital city of Jiangxi province, to Bangkok, Thailand, will begin on Oct 2.
Accordingly, tour prices to Thailand fell sharply and many travel agencies are enjoying a surge in sales for the National Day holidays.
This is the second international direct flight from the province following flights from Nanchang to Seoul. The one-way route takes three hours of flight time. A round-trip to Thailand previously cost 3,480 yuan per person and dropped to 2,880 yuan for a direct flight.
