First Meiling Mountain Cool Summer Festival opens

The first Meiling Mountain Cool Summer Festival opened in Wanli district, Nanchang city on Aug 12. Themed activities, including grape-picking competitions and rafting competitions, were held during the festival.

Thirty young couples from Malaysia, India and Nanchang, Jiangxi province participated in the event. They picked grapes in a grape garden and learned farmhouse wine-making techniques. While rafting on Meiling Mountain, the couples enjoyed the beautiful scenery and cool water.

As an outdoor socializing platform for young people, the festival also promoted the tourism industry in Meiling Mountain.
