Shicheng rural tourism festival kicks off

The second rural tourism festival opened in Shicheng county, the source of Ganjiang river, Jiangxi province, on July 21, to enhance the county's tourism industry and its popularity.

Titled as the home of Chinese folk arts, home of Chinese colored-lanterns, home of white lotus and home of tobacco, Shicheng enjoys rich tourism resources. With the theme of "Explore the source of Ganjiang river and experience Hakka Culture", the festival ran through three days to July 23.

During the festival, a series of exhibitions were held, including a Hakka food fair, a Hakka colored-lantern show, a lotus cultural exhibition and a photography exhibition. In addition, tourists were able to taste the "all lotus feast", enjoy the hot springs and go sightseeing in the Ganjiang river scenic spot during the festival.
