The First Yaoli Zen Tea Summit Forum was held in Yaoli of Fuliang county, east China's Jiangxi province on May 1, 2012. The forum was sponsored by the Fuliang county People's government and the Jingdezhen Tourism Bureau. Representatives from the religious circle, ceramic art industry and tea industry attended the event.
The event integrated factors such as Zen, tea, porcelain, music and tourism through a series of activities. The development of the tea industry in Fuliang was also discussed and analyzed at the event.
This forum was one of the activities in the Ninth Jingdezhen and Fuliang Tea Culture Tourism Festival. The Fuliang county took the chance to build itself as a hometown of porcelain and tea in China. It strives to combine tourism and local unique culture to provide visitors with the best tourist experience while incorporating culture and folk customs.
