Tourist peak during tomb-sweeping holiday at Wugong Mountain

Since March, the Wugong Mountain scenic spot has begun a peak in tourists. From April 2, the first day of the tomb-sweeping holiday, large numbers of tourists came to visit the mountain in an endless stream. Traveling individually, with tour group or by driving, tourists were the local people from other cities of Jiangxi and those from Hunan, Hubei, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The number of tourists visiting the scenic spot during the tomb-sweeping holiday reached more than 10,200 and exceeded ten thousand people for the first time. The tourist income amounted to over five million yuan ($793,000), a year-on-year increase of 50 percent.
