A scenery video of Jinggang Mountain has made its debut on the LED screen of New York Times Square in the central area of Manhattan.
The short video, which aims to attract tourists, lasts 60 to 120 seconds and is played 20 times to 40 times a day.
This year, Jinggang Mountain launched a series of promotional activities, including an online platform built with China General Travel Net selling Jinggang Mountain tour products and the first national music movie “Red song" shot with Jiangxi TV station and Jiangxi Jinbo Co Ltd.
The series of all-round, multi-level marketing activities hopes to highlight the area’s tourism brand: “Ecological Jinggang Mountain, gules cradle, spiritual home".
It is reported that the video at New York Times Square was received with much enthusiasm from its American audience.
After watching the short film, New York resident Albert Smith said, "the scenery is very beautiful. I will go to have a look at the great mountain, beautiful waterfalls and the wind-around clouds.”
Xiao Guocai, former president of the Jiangxi Association in American, said, “for so many years, I have been looking forward to Jiangxi to reach out to the world. So I am very happy to see Jiangxi scenery debuting in Times Square.”
According to Secretary of Jinggang Mountain Municipal Party Committee Mei Liming, Jinggang Mountain has launched a bid to join world natural and cultural heritage work.
