Longmen and Tencent advance with Internet Plus

The second round cooperation for the “Internet Plus Longmen” smart tourism project was carried on in Longmen Grottoes scenic area on May 28.

The Tencent team’s executive plan covers Internet Plus ticketing, sightseeing, management, and publicity. The plan is tailor-made for the Longmen scenic area, combining the spot’s unique historic and artistic value, says Tencent, aiming to build it into a smart tourism model.

Yu Ying, the secretary of the Longmen scenic area Party working committee, said that they will make positive transitions in both thinking and management to embrace the new era of “Internet Plus Longmen”. Yu added that the new Longmen tourism will be principled on bringing more convenience to tourists and improving their experience.
