        Copper Drum Dance

The Copper Drum Dance is from the Miao people and used for worship. It uses copper drums, and a line of people dancing, with a lusheng (reed-pipe instrument) in their hands. The dance is mainly popular in the Gusa, Qiantao, and Huaxi districts and is usually performed during Spring Festival, primarily to pray for good weather for the crops, as well as peace and safety.
