More than 130 Taiwan entrepreneurs and chefs have applied for booths at the food court, which will last from June to October, and they will be divided into four groups that will attend the event in alternation.
A businesswoman in Pingtan said that her company had contacted food suppliers in Taiwan and they are aiming to bring Taiwan frozen desserts. She said they plan to serve dishes including sticky rice, sweet corn, Hsinchu meat balls and small steamed buns.
Organizers have taken measures to protect the environment at the beach where the food court will be held.
