Wang Binghui is an avid photographer based in Xiamen and has unassumingly captured precious moments at Xiamen Railway Station during the Chinese New Year traffic peak for almost twenty years.

Wang took his first New Year photo at the station by chance and decided to continue the series because he treats it as a time capture of city development.

Railway stations always meet their busiest work around the Chinese New Year.

New Year traffic peak is not only a passenger crowd, but also a show window to display different stories in terms of people’s clothes, luggage and facial expressions, according to Wang.
