A Dehong delegation consisting of local government officials and entrepreneurs recently flew to Japan and South Korea to investigate their agricultural product processing markets, aiming to boost the development of Dehong’s biological industry.
The delegation exchanged experiences on agricultural and biological industries with the Japanese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (JCPIT) after visiting the country’s biggest fruit market and a famous tea test site.
It also made large contributions to their coffee industry during the investigation.
The delegation signed a contract worth more than 9 million dollars with the UCC, a renowned Japanese coffee company, in which managers accepted an invitation to Dehong.
Moreover, it also signed a coffee export contract and planned to build a joint venture coffee company in South Korea.
