John Gray, one of the book's co-authors said, "The book aims to help men and women work better and succeed together." As a PhD in psychology and renowned expert on gender relations, John Gray's previous work "Men are from Mars, Women are form Venus" has been a hit since it was first published in the US in 1992.

Barbara Annis, who is another contributing author to the book and a leading expert on gender intelligence, runs her own company which offers consultancy services on gender relations to numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Zheng Li, one of John Gray's students and a well-known psychologist on gender relations in China, told China Daily that women with high gender intelligence know that emotion control is very important in the workplace while men with high gender intelligence will care more about women's emotions and listen to them carefully.

Rick Dai, CEO from Lietou.com said the new book can teach useful methods on how to get along with your colleagues and added, "I think many people in China will benefit much from the book."

The book was introduced by China's Science Press, and also?a lecture was held on the topic of gender intelligence following the book's launch ceremony on Auguest 6.
