A reading room, with the largest collection of digital publications in China including e-books and videos of lectures and other digital reading resources, has been launched in the Wuhou District Library in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
The new facility provides readers with access to 3 million e-books, 70,000 episodes of videos and 70 million articles published on journals related to the theme of the Three Kingdoms (AD 220-280).
It was a turbulent period in the Chinese history, and legends and literature works during that period have long fascinated the imaginations of Chinese people.
People can register on the official website to access the reading room, says Xu Bing, head of the Wuhou District Library.
