A preview of online auction house Hihey.com's spring sales is being held at Hengtong Universal Park in northern Beijing until May 22 in Beijing. All exhibits will be auctioned from May 20.
Works from more than 50 contemporary artists will be on display, including oil paintings, lacquer paintings, woodblock prints, lithographs, sculptures and installations. Highlights include busts of novelist and thinker Lu Xun and master ink painter Qi Baishi, both created by Liu Kaiqu in 1975, oil painter Ai Xuan's vivid depiction of a Tibetan girl, and oil artist Luo Zhongli's lithographic work Father and Son.
