A series of celebrations is being held to mark the 10th anniversary in March of the Today Art Museum, the nation’s pioneering privately funded, nonprofit museum dedicated to vanguard and experimental art.
Over the years, the museum has developed from a small gallery with a floor space of less than 1,500 square meters to an art museum with a floor space of about 10,000 sq m.
Holding contemporary exhibitions for artists from home and abroad, and public art education programs for visitors year round, the museum is widely viewed as a landmark in the Central Business District in the eastern part of Beijing.
