這兩天， 一個(gè)在北京的外國小伙“一鏡到底”自拍了一段解讀中國兩會(huì)的視頻。

這位小哥創(chuàng)意十足，從自家廚房到天安門廣場，再到前門大街“瞬間移動(dòng)”（“tele-transported”），邊走邊侃自己對兩會(huì)的理解。

視頻里，他對中國全國人民代表大會(huì)的解讀和引用中國哲學(xué)思想的方式都十分地道。

據(jù)了解，這位小哥名叫格雷格·方丹（Gregory Fountain），來自英國約克郡（Yorkshire, UK），一個(gè)月前來到北京。

短短一月，他已經(jīng)逛遍北京胡同，還去動(dòng)物園看了向往已久的大熊貓。

但最近，他開始頻繁聽到“兩會(huì)”這個(gè)熱詞，這成功引起了他的好奇心。

于是，他決定搞清楚什么是“兩會(huì)”，然后做了一段特殊的視頻，跟像他一樣的外國人解釋。

?關(guān)于兩會(huì)：

It is known among Chinese people as “Liǎnghuì”, which means the “two sessions”, the National People’s Congress (or NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
這就是兩會(huì)，中國每年最重要的政治活動(dòng)之一，包括了全國人民代表大會(huì)和全國人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議。

?關(guān)于全國人民代表大會(huì)：

The NPC, with its 3,000 or so deputies, has the power to supervise other national organs of state and ensure that the government runs in accordance with the will of the people.
這其中，近3000名全國人大代表的被賦予權(quán)力依照人民的意愿來監(jiān)督國家權(quán)力機(jī)構(gòu)。

It is these deputies who have the power and responsibility to ensure China makes the right decisions.
這些代表就是有責(zé)任確保這個(gè)國家做出正確決定的人。

From amending and supervising the enforcement of the Constitution, to electing the president, the NPC and its Standing Committee has guaranteed that state power is always held by the people.
從通過修訂和監(jiān)督憲法的執(zhí)行，到選舉國家主席，中國的全國人大及其常委會(huì)保證了國家權(quán)力被人民掌控。

?關(guān)于人大代表：

Its deputies come from all walks of life, they are scientists, teachers, entrepreneurs, migrant workers, doctors, artists and civil servants, to name just a few.
全國人大代表來自各行各業(yè)。舉例來說，有科學(xué)家、教師、企業(yè)家、農(nóng)民工、醫(yī)生、藝術(shù)家和公務(wù)員。

There are deputies who represent the interests of millions of farmers amid China’s rapid urbanization.
他們中間，既有在中國加速城鎮(zhèn)化過程中代表數(shù)億農(nóng)民利益的人大代表。

And there is a deputy from the Lhoba ethnic group who works to protect the culture of her people, who number fewer than 3,000.
也有來自不足三千人口的珞巴族代表，致力于保護(hù)其本族文化。

Because they come from the grass-roots level of Chinese society, the deputies truly know what life is like in their respective regions.
因?yàn)閬碜陨鐣?huì)基層，他們真正了解所屬選區(qū)的真實(shí)生活。

看來這位小哥真的做足了功課了，解說起來一點(diǎn)不含糊……
