Curling (冰壺)? 乍聽起來很陌生，但事實上, Curling
(冰壺)在歐美是相當普遍的一項冬季冰上運動。你可以形容它像是在冰上打保齡球，但場 上只有扁扁的球而沒有球瓶。

"冰壺"也可稱作"冰上溜石游戲"，最早發(fā)源于十六世紀的蘇格蘭，后流傳至歐美等國，據(jù)說，"冰壺"現(xiàn)已成為加拿大最為鐘愛的冰上體育項目。比賽最終目的就是在投出所有
16 個約42 磅重的花崗巖冰壺石（每隊 8
個）后，令您所在隊的冰壺石最接近營壘的中心。運動員從冰道一側的擲石區(qū)將冰壺石擲到另一側的營壘中。這包括冰壺運動員從擲石區(qū)將冰壺石推出，帶著旋轉推開它，冰壺因此而得名的。
當然，離開體運項目，我們還得弄清curling的本意。Curling的動詞形式curl表示某物呈螺旋狀如：The wave curled
over the surfer（波浪從沖浪運動員頭上盤旋而過），同時，curl也可以表示卷發(fā)Her hair was in
