In celebration of the upcoming International Children's Day, China Children and Teenagers Film Institute and the Film Digital Program Management Center of the State Radio, Film and TV Administration have sponsored the screening of a recommended list of films for children.
A total of 15 children's films, which were all home-made after the reform and opening-up policies were implemented in China, will be screened from June 1 over the country for a week.
The event was opened by Xi'an Qujiang Film and TV Investment (Group) Co Ltd on Wednesday.
As the only host of the activity, the Qujiang firm has provided a children's film entitled Those Children's Things to tell a story about young students and their teacher. The film received a number of awards including the special award of the 11th International Children's Film Festival.
